SMUDGE is a series of digital and film photos distorted by scanning, reflecting the artist's experience of emigrating from Russia to Czechia. Images include a plane ticket, Russian passport, and banknote. Photos reflect his daily life as a migrant. The distorted prints appear to be spilling from the Memory Person suitcase, supporting the collaborative nature of the whole installation.
